Start a Livetopia RP hospital scene by choosing who is playing the visitor, staff member and accompanying family. Then find an accessible room whose signs match the scene you want. A short check-in, a family visit or a hospital tour gives everyone something to do without inventing a treatment mission.
The official hospital remodel introduced a multi-story setting with departments, operating rooms, X-ray facilities and a baby ward. These are locations for in-game stories. Their names do not establish real medical training, tested treatment effects or an automatic patient-management system.
What the hospital remodel introduced
The official March 7, 2024 announcement described a completely remodeled hospital. It named major departments without listing every one, and described these settings:
| Announced feature | A scene you could plan | A detail to check now |
|---|---|---|
| Multi-story hospital | A short visitor tour | Current room signs and accessible routes |
| Hospital departments | Staff introduce their fictional roles | The actual labels shown in the building |
| Operating rooms | A staff briefing or room tour | Available interactions and access |
| X-ray facilities | A fictional appointment conversation | Present prompts rather than an assumed result system |
| Baby ward | A family visit | A setting the whole group can enter |
Use the current signs to find rooms instead of assuming a department is on a particular floor. The announcement doesn’t provide a September 2026 map, a working diagnosis algorithm or a reward for visiting each room.
Assign roles before the conversation begins
Choose a small group of characters. The staff member welcomes the visitor; the visitor explains why their character has arrived; the accompanying person asks a question or helps move the story to its next scene.
Decide what kind of story everyone wants. A calm check-in, a tour and a family visit need different dialogue, but none requires a graphic scenario or a complicated fictional diagnosis.
The current official game description encourages choosing roles, outfits and jobs for roleplay. It does not document a hospital salary, a qualification ladder or automatic NPC patients. Use the job title to introduce the character’s role instead of assuming it pays a salary.
For appearance planning, use the outfits guide. Let each player use an accessible look rather than making one paid costume a condition for joining the scene.
A simple check-in scene
Give the visit one fictional purpose, such as a routine appointment or a character asking for a hospital tour. Begin where the participants can meet and keep the first conversation brief.
- The visitor introduces their character and reason for arriving.
- The staff character welcomes them and explains the next part of the scene.
- The group moves to an accessible room that fits the story.
- The accompanying character asks a question or reacts.
- The group agrees on an ending or a next destination.
Use these steps to organize the conversation. They are not treatment instructions or a sequence of hospital interface actions. If the game offers an interaction in the room, use its present prompts rather than assuming a particular tool changes a health statistic.
Two other ways to use the building
A family visit
Choose who is being visited and who has come along. The baby ward named in the remodel can inspire a family scene if that area is accessible, but the room’s name does not establish a birth or baby-care simulation.
Keep the story focused on the characters: the visitors introduce themselves, the family shares news and everyone decides what happens after the visit. You can end with a home scene instead of inventing a required discharge or payment mechanic.
A staff orientation
One player can guide another through the rooms they can access. Introduce the department names actually shown in the building and let the new staff character ask questions.
Play the tour as a conversation without promising a rank or wages for finishing it. Two rooms and a closing discussion are enough for a short scene. If a doorway is restricted or a room has changed, choose another accessible space rather than promising an undocumented unlock.
Older hospital interactions have their own dates
The historical developer patch archive, last edited June 3, 2022, records July 2021 hospital additions: an ambulance with an operational back door, a medical record card, ECG and AED interactions, and an operational elevator.
Those entries describe features from before the later remodel. They don’t establish today’s tool locations, control sequences or treatment outcomes after the later remodel.
If an ambulance or equipment item is available, it can support your fictional scene. Check the current controls before using it, and don’t turn an old interaction note into a promise of a particular healing effect or a paid hospital job.
Connect the hospital visit to the city
Give the group a next scene once the visit ends. A family might return home, friends might meet elsewhere or staff characters might finish their shift in the story.
The mall guide offers a social outing for a later scene, while the roleplay ideas guide helps you connect several locations around one group plan.
Choose the transition together. A clear ending gives the hospital scene a purpose and makes it easier for another character to lead the next part.
FAQ
What did the hospital remodel add?
The March 2024 announcement described a multi-story hospital with departments, operating rooms, X-ray facilities and a dedicated baby ward.
Where are the hospital departments?
Use the current room signs and routes. Check the building itself instead of treating the old announcement as a current floor directory.
Does hospital roleplay pay a salary?
Check actual job prompts before planning around pay. Choosing a staff role for your story does not, by itself, mean you receive a salary.
Do the equipment items have verified healing effects?
Check each item’s current prompts before using it. Older patch notes mention interactions without establishing today’s treatment effects or health-stat changes.
Is the baby ward a full birth simulation?
The remodel announcement names the ward as a location. It does not document a complete birth or baby-care simulation.
