Plan the scene before selecting the home
Start with one event: guests are arriving, a family is preparing for a formal visit or a traveler is being welcomed. Then choose an available royal home that suits it.
For a small group, use clear roles. A host welcomes visitors, a guest brings news and an attendant helps explain the plan. You don’t need every player to portray royalty, and you don’t need to declare one character mechanically stronger than another.
Agree on how the visit ends. After the introduction and conversation, the group might leave for a city outing or move to another accessible area of the home. That gives everyone a next step instead of leaving them waiting in the castle for someone else to invent a scene.

Use the outfits, carriage and wand with a purpose
The three royal outfits can help players recognize the theme, but everyone doesn’t need to dress alike. Let visitors wear the looks they can access. Their introductions can explain who is the host and who is a guest just as their clothes can.
If the carriage is available in your session, make its arrival part of the story. Tell the other players where to meet, then start the greeting once everyone is present. The pass description does not give the carriage a measured speed advantage or make it a prerequisite for reaching every castle.
For the wand, decide what it means to the character. It could be a ceremonial prop in a welcome scene or part of a fantasy costume. Those are player-written ideas, not promises that the item unlocks powers or completes hidden-room puzzles.

The March 3, 2022 Update 44 announcement introduced a new royal house and advertised a temporary Royal Pass discount. The developer patch archive, last edited in June 2022, also records historical royal housing additions.
Use those announcements to understand the package’s history. For today’s contents, use the current product listing; for today’s price, use the current purchase screen. An old half-price promotion doesn’t establish a discount in September 2026.
Before spending, check that the named items interest you and that your group has a plan for using them. Think about whether you would return to the home for another story before buying a package because an old video called it a bargain.
